NASTY SHEMALES FROM HELL è un progetto indipendente del 2020, interamente ideato, curato e realizzato da Thomas Ray.
Si tratta di disegni fatti a mano usando solo una bic nera, colorati successivamente a computer con tinte terroristiche.
La rappresentazione aggressiva e mostruosa dei soggetti (nello specifico donne trans) in scenari iper-violenti e orrorifici è metafora di un immaginario comune diffuso e del tabù sociale legato al sessualmente differente.
Genitali e volti umani vengono sostituiti con coltelli, serpenti, chiodi, oggetti appuntiti, teschi, maschere…. Al diverso non è concessa una vita sentimentale, relazionale e appunto sessuale che non sia mostruosa e aggressiva. Non gli viene riconosciuto alcun sentimento umano, e quando esso esiste, risulta diabolico e perverso.
Ciò che non è conforme ad una presunta normalità viene bollato e catalogato sotto lo stigma dell’orribilmente sbagliato. NASTY SHEMALES FROM HELL non è altro che il suo esorcismo.

The aggressive and monstrous representation of the subjects (specifically trans women) in hyper-violent and horrifyig scenarios is metaphor of a spread common imaginary and the social taboo related to the sexually different.
Genitals and human faces are replaced by knives, snakes, nails, sharp objects, skulls, masks…a sentimental, relational and sexual life is not granted to the different. He is not recognized by any human feeling, and when they exist, they are diabolic and perverse.
What does not conform to a supposed normality is branded and catalogued under the stigma of the horribly wrong. NASTY SHEMALES FROM HELL is nothing more than his exorcism.
